Carson in his new suit...he looks so grown up!

We had quite the Easter Weekend! We had all of our family up this weekend and let me tell you it was a blast. Granted, I am soooo tired, but well worth it. Abby was in heaven with her girl cousins. She loved that she had other girls to dress up with and play in her princess tent with, while Carson, Landon with their boy cousins seemed to either be down stairs playing the Wii or outside in the back playing a mean game of hoops. They had so much fun. Every night this week they have gone to bed so good, even around 8:00, because they are so stinkin tired from the sleepless weekend. Saturday we had a Easter egg hunt. First for the kids, and then the kids got to hide stuff for the adults. It was to fun watching them get excited about us finding the candy they hid. Next we had a huge lunch/dinner, and then we all were able to go and see Carson be baptized. It was an amazing day, and we feel like we have the best family in the world!!! Thanks everyone for sharing a wonderful weekend with us.

So there was a little scare, Carson was convinced that he figured out who the Easter Bunny was. You see at about 12:30 a.m. Carson decided that nature was calling, and for some reason he was going to use the bathroom in my room, instead of the one in the hall way like he normally does. Well, I did not know this because the adults were in the living room watching t.v and talking. On Easter morning, I got up, got the video camera ready so that I could catch their reactions to their Easter baskets. As Carson came into the living room and found his hidden basket, his reply was,
"I Knew It"! I asked him what was he talking about. He admitted that he had saw these same baskets on my floor in my bedroom, when he went to the bathroom the night before. I tried to stall as I needed to come up with something, anything! My reply..... "Well I think the Easter Bunny tired to come earlier in the night last night, but he saw that you guys were all still awake and because he had a million other houses to go to, he had no choice but to leave them on the front porch". I told him that I just happen to look out the window, saw them sitting there, decided to bring them inside so they would be safe and put them in my room, so that the surprise would not be ruined, and that I put them in the living room before I went to bed, and that is why he saw them in my room. His reply....."Oh now I get it". Well, we dodged a bullet there!! Man these kids are sneaky, it won't be to long (which makes me so sad), before all the questions start coming up. Please don't grow up!

So that was our big exciting weekend. I am very busy preparing for this consignment sale that I am doing this week. I finally decided to start selling a bunch of my kids clothes. I figure why not try to make a little money off them. After that, I will be getting in the zone for my girls trip with my Mom to Vegas, I cannot wait!

The kids only have about 7 more weeks of school. They are getting excited for that. They also start baseball season the middle May. Yes they wait unitl the middle of May because they figure it might be a little warmer. Joe is super busy at work right now, nothing exciting to report on his end.....he is such a hard worker. Abby is in a play group once a week. It hillarious to have the kids at our house, because Abby just sits back and watches all the kids touch her toys. She is not sure what to do. Well enough rambling on. That is our life right now in a nut shell. Let you know if anything else exciting happens.

Day at the Zoo

So I know that our Spring Break was about 2 weeks ago, and for some reason I just have not had any desire to blog....but I am slowly coming out of it, so sorry for the late pictures. Of course we went down to Utah, and the weather was so nice while we were there, so we promised the kids that we would take them to the zoo. I think this was Abby's first time and she loved it! My Dad's birthday was also while we were there, so we had a little party for him. It was fun to just hang out and relax.

We have a very busy weekend coming up. All of my family and Joe's family are coming up for the Easter weekend. Carson is going to be baptized, and so they all decided to make a whole weekend out of it. I think that we counted 30 people that are coming up, ( not all are staying with us.....that would be insane) so it should be a crazy, fun old time. I will post lots of pictures of our fun weekend! TTFN...

Well another season has come to an end. The final.......7 wins, 2 loses and 1 tie for the Badger Bearings. (Yes, that was their team name.) Up here they have local businesses sponsor the teams and well, this is what we got. We were just glad that we got the light blue jersey's this time, and not the bright deer hunter orange like the other team. Carson had a blast playing basketball this year. He was on a great team, and we sure enjoyed the weekly entertainment of him pretending he was D Williams from the Utah Jazz. Way to go Buddy!!! Now let's bring on Baseball season.

There is just something about a girl....

I had to share this picture. Joe came home for lunch today and asked if all I do all day is dress Abby up and take pictures of her. My reply....YEP. She is really into dressing up these days, so it is all her, and I love every minute of it.

Wow I can't believe that it has been a month since I have posted anything. Not much has been going on, but I will give you a quick update.

Carson is currently playing basketball. His team has won all of their games but one. He thinks he is D Williams onthe Jazz. He usually takes the ball down the court and instead of driving to the hoop, Carson likes to take it to the top of the key so that he can attempt to set up a play. It is one of the most entertaining things to watch. He loves sports and is looking forward to baseball season. He is really into the Tree House book series and loves to just sit and read. He will turns 8 yrs old in about 3 weeks. ( I think I am going to cry he is growing to fast. I know I should have listened to my mother when she told me that.) Life is A.O.K for that kid.

Landon continues to love Kindergarten. They had their winter testing, and his teacher let me know that that he got all high marks. (Not to brag but they were the highest you could get, yes above grade average) I am so proud of him. He loves to learn new things, and is getting into reading books all by himself. Landon also enjoys pestering Abby lately, and it is driving me nuts. He really knows how to make that girl mad sometimes. He is also excited for baseball. He was not able to play basketball because you have to be in first grade. Next year little buddy!

Abby is your typical 2 yr old drama queen. That girls has a set of lungs, and believe me she knows how and when to use them to get her way. They boys told me the other night that they voted that we move her room downstairs so that they would not have to hear her anymore, Not going to happen boys....nice try. She loves to follow her brothers around. Her new thing is that after they go to the bathroom, she decides that she needs to go stand next to the toilet, pull up her shirt, grab her cute bellybutton that sticks out, and pretend she is going pee like them. I know, we have a lot of work to do with her.

Joe is still loving his job. He is my little farmer! We will celebrate our 10 year anniversary this June, and are starting to plan a vacation to go on. We were thinking of a cruise, so if anyone knows of a good one let me know.
That is pretty much all that is going on. We are patiently waiting for Spring, and it can't get here fast enough. Hopefully I will be better at posting things in the future.

Birthday Girl

Oh my, my little Abby is two years old! Wow, I just don't know where this time has gone. Abby you are the most beautiful little girl, and we feel so lucky to have you in our family. What would my days be like if I didn't have your smiling face to walk into every morning as you sit in your bed and sing to yourself! We love you so much and look forward to having numerous tea parties, playing with all those new dolls, dressing you up like a princess, and watching Tinkerbell with you yet again for the 100th time. Happy Birthday!
