Back To School

Well today was Carson's first day back to school. He is in the 2nd grade. Wow... I cannot believe this. I must say though, the house was very quiet with him gone all day:) Landon does not start Kindergarten until Friday, but we did get to go and meet his teacher today. As usual, he played the shy role and did not talk that much. (why is it that your kids talk and talk all day long at home, but once you need them to actually talk out in public, they somehow forget how to talk?) I think he is excited, I do not know who this is going to be harder on, him or me. My mother just keeps calling me and telling me to not cry until after I get home, as to not upset him. I will try my best. I think I will not be taking phone calls on Friday. Wish us luck this week. I will let you know how the school year is going.

Abby was so funny today. I walked in my room to see her trying on my shoes and walking around in them. (this is now her new favorite thing to do.) Then I got her ready for the day, and not even ten minutes later she had found chocolate from somewhere, and obviously enjoyed it!

This Summer we had a blast. Joe had to work alot, so I took the kids, and we were off to Utah for the month of July. We loved seeing our family and friends! These are just a few pictures of our summer. Enjoy!

Joe and Kim

Carson

Carson is 7 and heads off to 2nd grade this Fall. He just finished up with Baseball and his team made it to the playoffs, but did not come out with the Championship. He loves sports and can harldy wait until his beloved University of Utah football team takes the field this Fall. This is his first year as a regular season ticket holder.

Landon

Landon iS 5 and is starting Kindergarten this Fall. He just got done playing his fisrt year of T-ball, and his team name was the Dragons! Since they do not really keep score, he is convinced that his team had a perfect season. He is my little man and I will miss him like crazy when he goes to school.

Miss Abby

Abby is 18 months old. She pretty much runs the house, and she knows it. She loves to play outside, and follow her brothers everywhere. Her new favorite thing is to sing Twinkle Twinkle and Happy Birthday to just about anyone who is in the room.

Game Time

We took in a game to see the Tampa Bay Ray's take on the Boston Red Sox's. The boys had a blast. Carson was brave enough to wear his Boston shirt, and feels that by doing so, he was good luck in helping his team win.

Our Summer Vacation

This Summer we went to Sunny Florida. The kids had a great time on the beach. Carson and Landon tried to master the waves, while Abby was trying to figure out where all the sand came from.
